PREMIER DESIGNS JEWELER! Don’t allow yourself to be tempted to ‘try out’ or ‘sign up’ in another direct sales company! (keep this for future reference)

After 24 years in the direct selling industry, here are some “observations & thoughts” by Diamond Executive Director, Greg Terrell

The longer you are in Premier Designs, you will probably be approached to be involved in another Direct Sales company. There are hundreds of wonderful direct sales companies with some great products! But, I have not met anyone in 24 years that has left Premier Designs, and done better in another direct sales company!

Andy Horner even told us back in the late 1980’s (these are my notes when he spoke) that “As a Premier Designs distributor, you have an ‘expertise’ and a ‘skill’ that you have learned with our training! You are ‘sharp’ and other companies would LOVE to have you! What will happen is that they will make you feel like a superstar and give you all of the attention and recognition, tell you what you want to hear, then after they have all they need from you, they’ll drop you! With Premier, we love you for who you are and not for how much or little you do! You CANNOT chase two rabbits and catch one! If you will focus just on Premier, you will be amazed what it can do for you and your family!”

Here are some things to know and think about if you are approached by another direct sales company that I have observed over the years!

Other Direct Sales Companies ... They cannot compare with Premier Designs!!!

· 50% immediate profit with Premier is the best in the industry! The avg. show is close to $500! If you sell $400, your gross profit is $200!! This is for a ‘below avg.’ jewelry show! How much is that per hour?!! You make great money for your time spent!

· Is there a good “Hostess Plan” (if any) to keep your business going? Premier has the best! How do you make contacts with people? After you talk with Friends and Family, who else will show your product or sign up in your company? THIS IS HUGE!!! Our hostess plan will help keep you in business!

· Is there a “Party Plan” with this other company? If not, HOW will you continue to get new business? "Showing" or "Demonstrating" the jewelry gives you a better chance at BOOKINGS (future business)!!

· To our knowledge, you will get MORE FREE product from having a Premier Designs Jewelry Showing than any other company!! WOW!!!

· Will people continue to use or purchase the product after 3 – 6 months? A year? Jewelry is the #1 gift item in America!

· What if their product is a little pricey? If it is, will they continue to spend the money for it? Will there be loyalty?

· 10-10-10 downline payout in Premier! For 24 years, we have made $50-$100/month/working jeweler in our downline! There is not another company, that I know of that has matched that!!

· What is the “real potential” for an average distributor … for the person who is not near the top of another direct sales company? The average person is still making ‘cash flow’ when they show the jewelry!

· Be honest and ask yourself, “If Premier not working for me like I want it to, am I truly working Premier?” Premier Designs WORKS when you work it!!

· Are you asking your upline for assistance?

· In Premier:

o No Inventory!

o No Delivery!

o No Sorting of the orders!

o Orders come pre-packaged!

o No Monthly, Quarterly or annual Quotas (unless you sponsor)!

o No paying for postage when we place an order with Premier! Are there shipping costs involved with other companies?

· Is your product a “WANT” or a “NEED” … If it’s a “NEED,” (which usually means you have to convince someone to quit using a product to buy yours or just convince them to use/buy your product) it is a harder sell for the average person to do. A “Want” (which is jewelry) is a product that someone will buy if they like the product (no convincing is needed) and it’s in their price range!

· We are a company that is proudly built on Biblical Principles!

· We have a philosophy of wanting to “Honor God and to Serve People!” We want to do that in our lives and we have a company that wants to live this out daily!

· Premier supports missionaries around the world with company profits!

· The Hostess Plan and Marketing Plan creates an environment of wanting to help and serve others!!

· Premier has $500,000,000+ in retail sales with NO DEBT, EVER!!

· Premier will not be "sold out" to another company or Wall Street firm! Can you really, really TRUST other companies?

· Our Marketing Plan has NEVER changed!! That’s HUGE!!

· Our 50% payout, Hostess Plan and 10-10-10 Marketing Plan are one of the best, if not THE best in the direct sales industry!

· FYI - If someone in another direct sales company wants to check out Premier compared to their company, if there is a family or long friendship/relationship with that person, Premier could clearly be the better company, but they may not change because of relationship issues (seen and unseen) that are involved!

· Many companies are “Internet Business/Social Networking/ Facebook operation.

· If it is internet related, there is no relationship … probably no commitment … Are you building a life? Enriching lives?

· There are HUNDREDS of other direct sales companies!! You really hurt your credibility with your people and your Premier business when you join another direct sales company!  

· Don’t fall into the trap when you hear people say things like, “Premier can be your nighttime job and this other thing is your ‘day’ job.” Or “I will sign up people who never would have signed up in Premier.” Or “I will sign up just my relatives who need this product!” Or “The marketing plan is so impressive with this particular company!” or “The people who are running this company are a ‘Dream Team!’”

· Can you join another direct sales company and be a Premier Design distributor? Yes, but you cannot directly or indirect sponsor anyone in your downline, in the new company, that is already a Premier Designs distributor. Premier will cancel your contract if you do this.

· I believe, as a leader in Premier, you should not belong to another Direct Sales Company (when you have a downline)! 

· If you join another direct sales company, it will tell your people that you feel Premier is not the best thing out there.

· It confuses your downline and your customers!

· People in other companies WILL use your name and say that this other company MUST be better and Premier must not be working or they NEVER would have looked at or signed up in the company!

· Are you working your Premier business as hard as you are this other company? What would happen if you did? What if you applied your enthusiasm to Premier again?

· How do YOU feel when you hear of a jeweler being part of another direct sales company?

· When someone tells me about other company's “percentages” in their marketing plans, that really means nothing to me. We had the top lady in another jewelry company share with us that for the past 25 years, she has been telling people that Premier’s marketing plan is inferior to their company because their marketing plan goes ‘infinite’ levels deep! Come to find out, we make 3-4 times what she was making in her best year, with the same number of people! It’s how MUCH each average WORKING distributor is doing!! Also, I know of a lady in a large cosmetic company that makes in the high, six figure income. Income wise, a Premier jeweler makes 7 times more than she does if you just compared the number of people in her organization compared to a Premier Designs jeweler and her/our downline numbers! WOW!

· I have had people leave Premier to go to other direct sales companies and to date, none have done better. I have had several that rocketed up in other companies for a year or two, but in the long run, it hasn’t worked out! I had a lady leave Premier and was making $6000-$7000/ month in the other direct sales company. Within two years she was out.

· As Andy Horner has always told us, “You cannot chase two rabbits and catch one!” Choose one company and go with it! We have seen you cannot do two companies and do either one well.

· If someone in another direct sales company tells you that this leader makes “X” dollars, I would wonder how many people are in their organization to obtain that amount? In Premier, for 24 years, we have usually made $50-$100/working distributor in our downline organization. That is amazing!! FYI - This is our figure, not Premier’s.

· Again, I have NEVER had any leave Premier and done better in another direct sales company! I’m sure someone will make another company work for them, again because there are some wonderful direct sales companies out there.

I guess what I’m saying is that sometimes, people will, one day try to convince you that the “grass is greener on the other side!” Most people can make their company look good and might even be convinced that it is better than Premier. I wish them the best, but my experience is that the grass on the other side of the fence still needs to be mowed and there were a whole lot more weeds over there than what they originally thought (smile)!!

As Andy Horner has said many times (I’m paraphrasing), “Is this business always easy? No! Is there broken jewelry? Yes! Is every show a great show? Yes, if you believe God has you there for a reason and a purpose! Can this business be frustrating? Yes! Is it worth it? Does it have amazing potential for you? YES! God created each one of you with value and purpose!”

God brought you into Premier for a reason! Let Him use you so you can be a blessing to others!! I believe that Premier Designs truly is the BEST, all-around direct sales company in America! Work your Premier Designs business and it will work for you!!! Make the MOST with what you have! We are truly, TRULY blessed to be a part of this incredible company!! The BEST is YET to COME!!!
